Here are some things just listed by other crafters and sellers on Folksy.
As a child mum taught me how to do a few things, knitting, sewing, embroidery and more, as a mother myself i continued to do things around the house curtains, cushions, quilts and decorating. In 2006 I was encouraged to maybe think of a career in interiors and sewing so i joined a collage and the rest is history.
I stuided interior design, soft furnishing and passed my city and guilds. After this I worked on a couple of interior design projects but decided i loved the making process much more, so began a facebook business page and went on to make textil gifts for resale, my portfolio is still there to browse. I also worked as a designer for make and Craft Magazine and was encouraged by my contact there to maybe thing about writing a book (still thinking about that).
I now have a stuido in my garden and am a full time soft furnisher, i still advise on interiors for clients and do some upholstery too.
I hope to find the time to make and add lots to my shop and equally i do hope you like them too.
