After travelling in the USA together, my husband and I returned to the UK and my husband promptly took up the banjo.
He recently went back to the visit the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia with his Dad on an exciting 'boys' road trip. After chats on a banjo forum (yes, who knew??) they arranged to stay at the house of a very sweet banjo playing couple right up high in the mountains. I made this lino print originally as a present for the couple that he stayed with. They put it on their wall and my husband happily spent the evening talking about and playing old time Appalachian mountain music!
