PINK FUZZY FELT INSPIRED LAMPSHADE (DECORATE YOURSELF)

This small lampshade would make a fantastic gift or Christmas present for a crafty girl. It features a pink fleecy fabric and will be supplied undecorated. Along with the plain shade you will receive an envelope including a selection of decorations including felt flowers and butterflies - purple, pink, green, yellow and orange. The flowers and butterflies can be attached and moved as desired (just like fuzzy felt). You will also receive a white bobbled ribbon and a wavy cotton edging to be added to the top and bottom edge of the shade. (these have been backed with double sided tape - just remove the red plastic backing to attach them to the shade). The ribbons should not be removed once attached.
The felt images could also be glued to the shade with flame retardant glue if you wish then to remain in place permanently. (Glue is not provided).
The selection of photo's show how the lampshade could look at different stages of decoration. A photo of the decorations is also included - a list of which follows along with measurements:

Bobbled edging for bottom of shade (sticky) - 1 (75cm)
Wavy edging for top edge (sticky) - 1 ((33cm)
3 felt butterflies
10 felt flowers

The lampshade has been backed with white flame retardant backing.

I loved fuzzy felt as a child and wanted to make a lampshade using it as inspiration. I made the basic shade with a fleecy fabric that I found best to achieve the fuzzy felt effect. I think this shade would make an ideal gift for a little girl to decorate herself, changing the design of the butterflies and flowers as desired.
I am looking forward to making more designs with this idea.
