Fluttering bunting mug with a 'Best Dad' banner

Each one of these designs is hand painted, the colours will vary as each one is unique. You can clearly feel the colour texture of the paint under the surface of the glaze. This mug has bold colours blues, yellows and greens - oh and one bright red flag. the bunting is 'tied' onto the handle and the string is very tactile under the glaze. I back stamp and title the mug Best Dad bunting with a red heart on the bottom and on the handle.

This is a medium sized mug 8.5 cm high and 8.5 cm across

I paint using food safe underglaze colour and lead free glaze, this is high earthenware temperature fired in my studio in South Norfolk. I can do commissions and personalised items, but please do allow plenty of time for this (at least 2 weeks) I have to fit into a busy firing schedule and the daily pace of my family life!

I package using recycled materials and send out using a courier on a two day service.

The village green looked magnificent as Mrs Fooks Jones hurried across with the last of the sandwiches and the truly awesome 'man pies'. This was the first Fathers day celebration in the village and she had made the most spectacular bunting to celebrate. A group had been practicing "Dad Dancing' in the Crown for three weeks, this competition is to be judged by a select group of cringing teens.....Let's just hope the weather holds out...clear skies for now....tug o war set up and target shooting....I wonder if the village can cope with this much Dad worship!
