Ooh la la, Sindy! This retro-print flowery jacket is going to make a statement this Spring! Made from vintage poly-cotton, the jacket is fully-lined in pale pink pure cotton and has turned-up cuffs. A pale pink button is sewn onto each lapel with teal thread.

From Xavier and Xenobia's Spring 2012 collection Ice Cream Wars, the jacket also fits Barbie and other similarly-proportioned 11.5 fashion dolls. Limited edition and hand-sewn - only five of these jackets have been made and each is unique, slightly different from the others.

This vintage poly-cotton belonged to my grandmother. Like me, she also used to rescue dolls and do them up - although her speciality was Tiny Tears rather than Sindy. I designed this jacket with her in mind - I like think she'd approve of Sindy's style!
