The layer came from a canvas I painted I was taken time to sync with myself and worked with the soft pastel to see what developed. I ended with a floral pattern and then I moved on to work in with the acrylic bring it to life. The butterfly layer I was drawing out multiple butterflies and the brought them to time life with acrylic paint pend carefully choosing each colour on a separate canvas I did put line of butterflies with indian ink to bring it to life I then combined before layers on photoshop so it would be more vibrant. The inner covers are the same floral nature pattern but instead of having the butterflies there is a lady bird which I design using water colour and Ink. Nature , life and growth plays a big part of my inspiration for this design.
For example the butterflies symbolise change, growth and learning to spread your wings.
